Abyssmal Sorrow - Discography

Band: Abyssmal Sorrow
Genre: Funeral Doom Metal
Country: Australia

Abyssmal Sorrow is quite unique, everyone who already listen to this band will say so. They bring everything that is best in funeral doom, while listening to their music you are taken to another world, where everything is so sad and painful but at the same time so beautiful and peaceful.
When I listen to Abyssmal Sorrow work I picture myself in a landscape in a warm full moon night, in the middle of the nature just gazing up at the stars in pure solitude and depression.
Sadly the band split-up after the release of the first full-length album, and all the members have chosen to remain anonymous. In my opinion Abyssmal Sorrow is the best funeral doom band and I recommend this even for those who are not fans of funeral doom.

        1. Check out Elysian Blaze if you haven't already. It's a one man black/funeral doom metal band from the same country as Abyssmal Sorrow. First two demos are straight up DSBM, the debut album and the last two albums are rather epic blackened funeral doom.
